Keeping it Green! Planet, People and Prosperity
A few years ago our two founders attended an event in Sausalito, California where an egg carton with a bit of soil in each compartment was passed around the room. Each attendee was asked to plant a seed with an idea to cultivate as the seedling grew into a tree. As the carton made its way around the room, the idea of a green economy built on sustainable goods and services swirled in our minds. As the carton reached one of our founders he reckoned, "green IS green" as he gently submerged the tiny seed into the dirt. That's where we began!
We aren't really sure how our seed has fared, but our company has grown into a fine sapling; independent trade and marketing organization, promoting sustainable products and services to the ever increasing eco-conscious world.
We feel that the path to sustainability is an evolution, not a revolution. Changing engrained behaviors is a lengthy and incremental process in a consumption driven world- everyone wants it all- Now and Cheap! Most consumers don't seem to have the luxury to consider how many of the products they use effect the planet.
We are dedicated to promoting environmentally responsible products that enable sustainability, fair trade and clean living without compromise. Our goal is to influence change by promoting eco-friendly products that seamlessly replace detrimental ones, at the lowest possible cost and without requiring people to drastically change their behavior. We feel that if given an economically viable and effective choice, the status quo will choose green.
